The programme activities were
carried out in compliance with the intended timetable of activities:
1st day: Erasmus+

welcomed by the Principal of the Portuguese school Agrupamento de Escolas
Rio Novo do Principale Manuel Alexandre. Each group showed their presentation,
that displayed their development with respect to the research of the studied in
the project historical period that they have made.
2nd day: We had an organized visit of Coimbra – the archeological excavations of the ancient city, the university and its various faculties, the historical and science museum as well as the library, located there. That was a real multidisciplinary lesson at a European level. The students answered the question: “Where has the past met the present?”The day was finished with an eTwinning workshop to present what the participants had learned and what impressions they had during the day.
All the activities were published online.
3rd day: On this day the students continued
to develop their research approach when studying the history and art within the
period 17th - 18th century, baroque style examples and real
facts from the life of the followers of the Dominican Order. The information and impressions
were published online.
We also visited Ílhavo Maritime Museum where the largest
exposition of ocean species is preserved. The students were informed in detail about their evolution.
We published the information
online using various online channels and in the working space of the project on
the eTwinning platform:
4th day: A
visit of Porto and its cultural – historical sights amongst which The Word of Discoveries – interactive Museum was organized. In the evening a ceremony where the
Certificates and Declarations of Attendance were awarded for the participation
in the Erasmus+ education
mobility was held. It continued till midnight /East European time/
and was attended by students, teachers and parents.
During the educational mobility –
held in Portugal we learned a lot - all
the participants developed their knowledge and communication skills in English, their creativity and
understanding of the importance to preserve
the traditions and the cultural – historical heritage. Last but not
least, they realized with pride that they belong to the big European Union
family and that high-quality education has its importance everywhere in Europe.
We would like to thank from the
bottom of our heart to our hosts and to Mr. Manuel Alexandre – principal of Agrupamento de Escolas Rio Novo do Principe – Cacia.
Before the certification of the
participants, our Spanish partners presented a play that continued for one hour starting with something true and
interesting:
“When we act in a play, presenting a historical event, we can
understand it better as well as that historical period.” That play displayed the relation between
Spain and Portugal in the 17th century. The students were real
actors – passionate and inspiring.
The words of Mrs Gergana Petrova – chief coordinator of the project
were: “I always learn
something new, that changes
my way of thinking and makes me a better person! The most important thing is that I see the desire of the students
to learn more and show their knowledge!”
The impressions of the
participants are published online:
5th day: The
activities on this day were held in Aveiro where we were acquainted with the
production of salt, visited the Salinas and enjoyed a trip by boat along the
channels. We also received detailed information about the architecture of the
city.
The programme was implemented in
compliance with the planned activities.
An online survey is to be filled
in by the participants for the evaluation of the project activities.
